(K to Sunshine: yeah, I read rumors that they were dating. Hayden denied it daw. So I dunno... where did you learn that they dated before? Whether it's true or not, I just want to know if he's single now or dating. Hehehe and at least I've got proof that he's not gay! Hahahaha)

Model Fashion

Shout out to Trish! Muchos gracias, grazie, merci beau coup, arigato gozaimasu, thank you very much for the invite!! Had great fun. 'Course the hours-long standing up on 4-inch strappy-strappy sandals wasn't all that fun, but it's the only downside to the entire thing.

Got to watch a real-life honest-to-goodness fashion show last night. The stores were Warp, Bayo, cinderella, F&H (Folded & Hung), Plains&Prints... Rustans culte femme and the Men's clothes... hm... what else... Basta, there were others, don't remember all. Hee. But they were all nice stuff. I like the Rustan's ladies clothes - very classy and feminine. Cinderella was kind of a let-down since I usually shop there but the clothes they showed wasn't exactly my type.

The women models were all tall and thin. All those long legs, flat tummy... I'm all envious. The male models... mmmmm... yummy. Never saw so many 6-pack abs in one room. Never saw so many pelvic bones and dangerously low jeans in one room in my life before. I positively adored F&H's clothes coz they released the "illegally low jeans" and ALL their male guys had on jeans and no shirt. Oooooooh. Sadly, not all of the males were cute. There was one (whom I only noticed during the last walk, Rustan's Male) and the others... well, I didn't really look at their faces. Other parts of their anatomy (torso!) caught and kept my attention. Of course, I didn't seriously crush on them. The sad part about male models? I'm not entirely sure they're, y'know, 100% male. If you know watta mean.

It was a nice show and a fun experience. Would love to repeat. 'Xept next time, I'm bringing more comfy shoes. I didn't bring a camera coz I thought it would be so dorky to bring one but people around us were taking pictures, so I suppose it's okay. Still, I think I'd rather not look... well... desperate or something. I'd only bring a camera only if I have to.

At least, I've finally been able to watch a fashion show. Even if Trish and I kept whining at the start coz we were standing around, not doing anything, with no food (even though it was said that cocktails would be served, when we arrived - and we arrived early! - there was no food left), with killer shoes... it was just annoying. And they said the fashion show would start at 7, but in reality, it started at around 830. Closer to 9, actually, since there were a bunch of intros. I hate when people start late. There's such a thing as 'punctuality'.

The invite said "fashionably formal" but there were people in there in jeans! That was another annoying thing. If people write something in their invitations, it's meant to be followed. So now, the fashions of those who watched yesterday varied from casual to the semi-formal to formal genre.

Trish wore a come-hither black dress with a sexy neckline and asymmetrical skirt. She had this weird outer body temperature and kept taking off then putting back on this cute black... cardigan? Sweater? Cover-up?... thing. Low-slung black sandals completed the look. Me? White-and-blue halter top with black slacks and gray platform strappy sandals (my debut shoes). We were hot and we knew it. Hahahaha Our feet were dying and we also knew it. Haaay. Why is it that there is never a pair of shoes, save for sneakers and rubber shoes, that is 100% comfortable for women? Especially those worn for semi-formal to formal occassions?

After the show, we toured The Fort in search for a place to eat. Ended up eating in Jollibee (coz McDo was closed) then headed off home to rest our tired aching feet.

The only 'celebrity' we saw was Heart Evangelista (and we had no idea who her date was) and one of the Guitierrez twins (again, no idea who his date is but Trish said she's one of the semi-famous local model person). And there weren't a lot of cute guys around. Haaay.

Star Wars

I was hoping to get by this post without a single mention of Star Wars or Hayden Christensen. Haaay. Didn't happen.

I bought the soundtrack for Revenge Of The Sith and managed to score the 2-cds-in-1. It was so happy! I didn't even realize I got the 2-cd special until I arrived home and opened the disc. When I was in Tower, I simply looked for the soundtrack and grabbed it.

Anyway, I watched the second cd which was a vcd compilation of songs from the other soundtracks. They made it ala music videos with scenes from all movies that corresponded to the particular music. It's totally cool. I get to see all the characters and scenes I like. Sadly, there are little Ep3 scenes there, but still, I'm totally stoked by the buy.

I really want to get the special 4-disc DVD 2004 release of the original Star Wars movies. That is Star Wars (aka A New Hope), Empire Strikes Back, Return Of The Jedi. There's one scene I'm sooo excited to see even though it's only, like, 2 seconds, tops: the end the ROTJ where the ghostly figures of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin look back at Luke. In the original movie, Sebastian Shaw plays that ghostly Anakin. In the 2004 release, it's Hayden Christensen who plays that ghostly Anakin. His image was superimposed over Sebastian's:

I really wish Tower or AstroVision would go on sale already. The special release is selling for 3,200 but on sale, I'm hoping it'll sell fo 2,900 which is cheaper, yes? It went on sale before, but my dad didn't want to buy it (and I didn't have enough money). Now, my dad has said yes... but now, it's not on sale. And while I would love to get the 3,200 version, I figure I might as well be mature about this all and save my parents the extra 300 bucks, right? Money is hard all around so must save when I can. Can't wait, though. Really can't wait.

And my PS2 obsession has returned once more. Star Wars apparently released loads of games, movies as well as other types. So now I've got four serieses I want to collect: Final Fantasy, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, and Star Wars. Also, want to score copies of the Cartoon Network animation production of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

And to leave you...
