Christmas Vacation (Recap)
I enjoyed it immensely. First off, there was no school, so how can I not have enjoyed it, right? And then I read books, spent time with my family, had reunions with relatives, hung out with my high school barkada, spent a day with some of my classmates, and, in grand Filipino tradition, ate waaaay too much. As usual. Do I hate the pounds I've gained? Nope. I enjoyed the food and eating too much to begrudge my body it's extra pounds and fat LOL Still, it doesn't mean that I won't diet anymore and I think I'll do it once school starts.
Wedding bells seem to be ringing more often than not nowadays. My father-side cousin, a year younger than I am, just got married last December and he also has a kid; he and his new wife also got into a motorcycle accident on the 23rd of December and was thus not able to attend our Christmas reunion. And I didn't even know he had a kid until the first week of December. Another father-side cousin, older than I am by a year, is getting married in February. And his wedding is kind of my deadline for slimming down, even just a little bit. I certainly wouldn't want to look like a fat blob in all our family pictures, right? And then, another cousin, who's the same age as my brother and is from my mother side this time, is also getting married to her long-time man. He proposed on Christmas day and their wedding is set at the end of 2006 or at the beginning of 2007. Amidst all this, I am still single, available, studying, and still financially dependent on my parents LOL can't believe how time flies. Still, it's good news all around and I'm very happy for all of them and wish them nothing but the best.
Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all!
