Time
Been busy last week (a foreseen busy-ness), mostly due to Harry Potter 4 (description, reviews, number of viewings to be discussed in another post... when I have more time and energy to justify it's kwento). Then the weekend came and I had to study, help with our little family project of having a food booth in our village bazaar thing, and deal with my colds that was brought about by the two P's (pagod & puyat). I thought I'd have a sort-of breather or be able to catch up on my rest. But noooo. I forgot. JFT. We got practices and shootings for Just For Tonight, this one night where the three batches (first, second, and third) come up with a choir, band, and batch presentation as a presentation/contest. Ugh.
That's why I haven't had a chance to rest.
And I get the weirdest dreams every night. Well, these past two nights, mostly. My dream two nights ago had a cameo by Michael Jackson (don't ask me why). In my dream, we were in a very small auditorium and MJ went berserk every time someone wasn't paying attention to him. He'd grab a thin red baseball bat and went running around the 'stadium', screaming, "pay attention to me!!" It also featured people I knew from high school whom I don't think about or even see and whom I'm not even close to. So I really don't know why they were in my dream.
My dream last night, on the other hand, defied time. I first dreamt of the future... and then I dreamt of the past. Did that make sense? Ok... pretend my dream is a movie and I came in and watched the end (or near-end) and then went out and then came back and ended up watching the middle or start of the movie, wherein I already knew what would happen in the end. Wherein all my actions were done to make sure that I did end up with the 'future' that I had dreamt about at first. Did make better sense? Well, whatever, as confusing as my dream sounded, it certainly made perfect sense last night.
And now it's 1:20 in the morning... and I'm beat. Very. And I got Ob-Gyne tomorrow. I sure hope our prof shows up. Our last Ob-Gyne class, which was also our very first Ob-Gyne class of the year, was a no-show and the annoying prof gave us an assignment - a research paper on a topic that covered about 1/3 of our first year embryology book. And it was a very long and involved discussion on development of the genitals as well all the events that happen before fertilization until birth. And we're supposed to do this on top of studying for our next evaluations, doing our Community Medicine research/thesis paper, and integration. Ugh. Kainis talaga ang mga tamad na prof...
