Was not yet going to post, but then since I'm waiting for time, energy, and uploaded digicam pix before writing about my sembreak, I decided to write about this for the time being.

20 Random Things

Ok... I'm not entirely sure if there's any 'rules' to this, but what the hey, I'll wing it.

20. I am Obsessive Compulsive. Not a cleaner but an organizer. I like having my things in a certain way and if my things are not in their proper order (proper as deemed by yours truly) then I can't sleep. Or if I'm not in the house or dorm, then I won't be able to concentrate coz it's going to nag at my mind. Needless to say, if the my room/dorm is messy, I can't study.

19. I cannot live without my cellphone and I must go on-line at least once a week. Do I need to explain that?

18. I used to be a dreamer when it came to love. But certain things in my life have made me... slightly cynical, I guess. And not as giving of trust and love as I used to.

17. There are very few people on this Earth who know me so well and whom I trust completely and absolutely. And likewise, I love these people unconditionally and completely. I'd die for these people: my family, my best friends.

16. I like smart guys. Hahaha not 'smart' as in nerd, but smart as in they know a lot about a lot of things. I think it's because I grew up in a household of nerds LOL or, y'know, people who know stuff about a lot of stuff.

15. I never realized I was such a big movie freak until I learned the beauty of piracy.

14. I read Harry Potter and all my David Eddings books at least once a year.

13. I adore imdb.com simply because I learn about goofs, trivias, and quotes and I'm crazy for those.

12. I don't have a certain 'type' of guys I go for. I've gone for popular guys, loner guys, tall guys, not so tall guys, long-haired guys, kalbo guys... Races don't even bother me since I think I've crushed on a guy from almost every race LOL I am a major boy-crazy chick.

11. I don't like people to have the right impression of me. Did that make sense? Well... I like people to think I'm immature when in reality, I'm not. I like them to think I'm not that smart when in reality... uh, well, I really don't know my IQ LOL

10. It doesn't really bother me overly much if people would talk about me behind my back, just as long as it's not overly hurting. The people I know and care for know the truth, and if some jerk would believe the lies before even knowing me, then he/she is probably not worth knowing. Besides, imagine that, somebody you barely know are wasting air talking about you. And my life sounds so much cooler and exciting when heard through another person's mouth. I like surprising people.

9. I am a dreamer. It remains to be seen if I'm also a doer. And I also have a surprisingly clear recall of most of my dreams when I sleep.

8. I cry easily when we're talking about books or movies. I read something sentimental? I cry. I see someone cry on TV? I cry. Even when I'm not even entirely sure what they're crying about.

7. I'm into Tarot, palmistry, graphology and usually anything related to fortune telling. I like believing in the supernatural, in the psychic. I believe in magic and the unreal.

6. I love travelling. I love learning about the history of places I've been through. And yet, weirdly enough, I fall asleep trying to read history books LOL I need to be there to be interested in it, I guess.

5. I love kids, I love babies, and yet I'm not sure if I want to have one of my own.

4. I'm pretty conservative and yet there are certain things I'm quite liberal about. I follow the rules and yet there are times and certain rules that I don't mind breaking.

3. It takes a lot to gross me out... and yet I have a weird phobia for holes.

2. I'm mildly claustrophobic.

1. If I were to die young, I would not regret my life or the fact that I died "at the prime of my life". I live my life the way I want to, I have lived it to the fullest to the best of my abilities. I don't regret anything that I have ever done. If I die, my only sadness would be that I have caused the people I love pain. I don't like hurting the ones I love.

Other Random Things

10 Years Ago
1. I was 13 years old and in seventh grade.
2. Cried over a boy for the first time.
3. Experienced my first graduation.
4. Was a member of a class that I thought (and still think) is the most awesome class I've been in. Good times, people, good times.
5. Had my very first celebrity crush - Devon Sawa. Unless Prince William counts and I've crushed on that guy since I was 11.

1. Was... uh... 18, a college freshman, and had my debut.
2. Had my first boyfriend (aug 2000 to feb 2001).
3. Also had my second boyfriend (may 2001 until feb/march 2002).
4. Went on my first date ever.
5. Fought with my bestfriend of 6 years and we haven't talked since.

1. I was 22 years old and in my first year medical school. Again.
2. Was dating a guy.
3. Went on my very first plane trip alone to Singapore during May (2 months before I turned 23). 'Course I met my mom there but I was still alone most of the time.
4. Had my very first experience getting 'picked-up'. Didn't quite turn out good.
5. Went to a party and got really, really, really drunk; the drunkest I've been ever.

Yesterday
1. Stayed at my aunt's home in the afternoon for some much-needed R&R.
2. Spent time with my nieces and nephews whom I just adore to pieces.
3. Enjoyed spending time alone in a house in the States where I could pretend I lived here and started imagining my life if I did live in the States.
4. Went to Costco and Walmart in the evening and shopped for pasalubong.
5. Started feeling guilty to my mother country because, gosh, I sure would love to live here (in the States, where I currently am).
