Lots of people have told me that it's a wonderful movie and it is. I was just slightly disappointed by it. Sure, the hero, DB Sweeney (Doug Dorsey in the movie) is a total hottie (and I was surprised to find out that he's now 44 years old; around 30+ when he made the movie) and so was the heroine, Moira Kelley (Kate Moseley). But then, Moira has always been pretty.

As I was saying, I love the ice skating aspect of the movie and stuff, and yet somehow... I feel the characters and their love story is a bit... underdeveloped. I have a feeling that my disappoitment stems from this one part in the movie where Doug is already in love with Kate but hasn't acknolwedged it and vice versa for Kate. But Doug sleeps with another woman. And not just any other woman, the new partner of Kate's ex-partner (who's gay) and one of their top rivals in skating. And Doug did it the same night that Kate had basically tried to get Doug to sleep with her (she was drunk). Doug rejected her but welcomed the other woman. Kate went to his door the next morning to apologize and saw the woman naked and Doug just coming out of the shower. I was just disappointed by that, yknow? I guess I always hope that guys have more brain cells in their heads and not in the thing that hangs between their legs. If you do love a woman, why do you sleep with other women then? It boggles the mind.
