Murphy's Law

Not "everything that can go wrong will" perse, but just that things seem to not be good right now.

1. Had evals today. Need I say more?

2. My computer CD-ROM keeps opening and closing for no apparent reason. I'm not touching anything at all! And it opens and closes. Parang may ghost... Ghost It started yesterday, when I arrived at the dorm and turned on my computer. And then again, now, when I turned it on. Did if for, like, the first 10 minutes of my computer being on. Buti nalang tumigil na. So weird. I don't even know why! My friend suggested pa-tingin ko siya sa computer technician. Hm... is there such a thing as a "computer check-up"? Coz cars have "tune-ups" when you just bring them to the shop every now and then even if nothing is really wrong just to check and really make sure that nothing's wrong. Puede rin kaya yon sa computer?

3. Sadly, I can't even relax completely now, even though I'm kind of light this week. I've got pre-finals on Monday (Feb 7) on Biochemistry. Pre-finals ekek ang tawag pero coverage, parang finals. Everything!! How harsh is that?? In Friends, Chandler told Monica that "Hell is filled with people like you" and I'm tempted to say the same about Biochemistry. Argh! Hassle. And my brain isn't really the type of brain to be able to study hard for two weeks straight. I need to relax. So today is designated Relaxation Day. At sa pagka-badtrip ko sa test ngayon, I dunno if I want to go to Makati, or Alabang, or Festival, or Tagaytay, or somewhere near. Or just stay at the dorm (I'm leaning towards staying in the dorm since I'm tired). Now that I'm in the dorm, I don't know if I want to read (but I've only got one pocketbook and the next book I want to read is at home) or watch DVDs (must watch LOTRs again since I believe my LOTR: ROTK:EE will arrive. soon. sana. talaga.). Or maybe I should just go home and read there (pocketbooks, not textbooks) since tomorrow afternoon pa naman next class ko?

4. My cute navel ring that I'm currently wearing (an inverted ring, they call it, since the design falls from the top rung instead of bottom rung) is a moon and star design, and apparently, the moon is about to break off Crying since when I wore it after changing out of my uniform (my pants just doesn't work together with a navel ring), it was deformed and I had to unfold it.

5. Was supposed to buy my very first (pair of?? yun ba tawag dun?) stethoscope and was quite exited. I feel like such a doctor, y'know, buying that and stuff. But I wasn't able to meet with the seller so we'll try again tomorrow. I got a navy blue color. I really want about 5 steths: black, navy blue, light blue, pink, white. I think I might want more, but if I have those five (or four, minus pink), I'll be happy. And now, coz of that, my parents are making fun of me, saying that I'll probably use one steth per patient Rolling Eyes The truth is that, I kinda like many different steths coz it seems cute that way. Like, if I wanna be taken seriously, then I'll use black or navy blue. But if I feel ma-porma or something, then I have other choices. Or maybe I'll base them in my moods. I dunno. I just like unique stuff, even steths. I also want to have them engraved with my name (with an "MD" tagged at the end). Also, these steths will be strictly MY OWN! As in, I don't want to lend it out or anything. Hello? Keep your earwaxes to yourself, please. My steths, MY earwax.
