To Age A Year In A Day

It was my birthday yesterday... I turned 16+7/2 *4-75+29*5+46/2... nakuha nyo ba yon? LOL I think tama yung computation ko.

I decided to imitate my cousin and write down my family and friend's name in code LOL sana k lang sa kanila yung code na gagamitin ko para sa kanila. And hopefully, they'll recognize themselves too :p hee!

I'm in computer lab today... we're supposed to be looking for our review of related literature, but we can't find any previous studies that were done on our topic: Is there a relationship between breastfeeding and emotional quotient? Kaso wala talagang mahanap. We can't write naman that we couldn't find anything or that there were "no previously done studies" on our topic coz our prof ~threatened~ that she would know if what we wrote is true or not coz she also checks out our sources. Hmph. Eh wala talaga kaming mahanap so forget it.

Anyway, birthday was fine. Ate waaaay too much. Friday palang, madami nang kinain. I cut class coz I had to renew my license coz it was going to expire on my birthday and if I don't renew it, my brother said that I'd have to go to some seminar. So I'd rather skip a half-day of school rather than skip days just for some lame-o license renewal ekek, right? And since... uh... Sis and II went with us, and the entire fam was in the greater Makati area, I randomly suggested to my dad we eat dinner out since we sometimes do that when the fam's in full force in Makati. My dad was all, "oo nga noh. it's your birthday" and I reply, "no, no, not for my birthday. just... wala lang". My dad suggested Kimpura. And since that was Japanese and Japanese was one of the cuisines I craved in the 2-week period I didn't go home... I said ok. Plans were made... me, my dad, Sis, II went off to Makati commercial center after my license was renewed (hmph! hindi pa rin nababago yung typo ng weight ko! 67kg daw ako sa license ko!! hello?!! edi super bloated na ko nun, diba??) and headed off to Sbarro coz we were hungry. I was actually hoping for Wendy's but we couldn't see any nearby, and since Sbarro caught our eye, we ate there.

I ended up eating a bit too much. I don't think my stomach's used to eating what I used to eat there (mushroom and spinach pizza and a half order of pasta, in case you're wondering). After we did what we had to do, we went to Kimpura. Aba, sosy restaurant pala yon! I didn't know. My dad was in his usual purutong shorts and shirt and sandals and at the entrance, there was a small sign for dress code. I asked the waitress (female matre 'd?) if my dad's allowed in. She said yes. I said, "great, coz he's paying." Sadly, I wasn't able to enjoy the meal (and it was quite good) since I was still full from our Sbarro late-afternoon merienda. Haaaay. Maybe I can wriggle another Kimpura meal from my parents one day...

After that, Saturday... um... what did I do again? We went out. And ate merienda in Shakey's then had a celebratory dinner at home. Double full again! And then Sunday, breakfast out and ate a lot. Again. Ordered a meal and then ordered French toast pa! Grabe, tumaba talaga ako! I was still full dinner yesterday and since I don't eat breakfast, my next meal was lunch. And since I didn't have time to cook anything, I ate cereals for lunch. Hm... think nangayayat na ako nun? Nabawas yung nadagdag? Hope so. Hehehe

I was a bit cranky yesterday afternoon. See, on Saturday, I was supposed to get some VCDs that I ordered but wasn't able to get coz VCDGuy (for lack of a better, uh, 'code') fell asleep. My mom and I waited at the meeting point for an hour! Grabe! And I was so looking forward to finally having copies of My So-Called Life. It was supposed to be a sort of bday-present-to-me kind of thing...

And I also looked around coz I wanted to dye my hair blue or violet in highlights/streak-style so I was looking at what parlors had those hair colors. Only a few did, in fact, only two. David's had both but only had stock for the violet one. Salon One had blue naman but cost more than the one in David's. So I decided to go for David's. Unfortunately... three hours later sitting down in a aircondition-deprived supposedly-sosy salon, the darn dye didn't stick. Now, I'm stuck with brownish-blond highlights. Which I don't want and didn't want to have. But I have no choice, unfortunately, I'm stuck with this for years! Until my hair grows out! And I don't want to cut my hair! Argh! I was really disappointed there. Now I'm off to find a place that does have the dye colors that I want (blue, violet, or green) and first try it out on a small part of my hair before using it as a highlight. Grabe. Sayang talaga. Haaaay.

yup :) i s'pose our next pig-out would be xmas/new year? heheh or when tita arrives. that'll be cool.

no, i'm not really blond now. my hair's streaked. i dunno if it's coz they did try to apply the violet dye on my head, but the highlight colors on my head vary in shade. some are blond and some are brown and some are light brown. it's kinda cool... na kinda not. i mean, it'd be cool if this was something i actually WANTED. and i'm sure if i did this before, i'd be sooo happy about it. but it wasn't what i was expecting and not what made me excited, so... ayon. hehehe k lang sakin when i see it. the entire look just reminds me that i had wanted violet and instead got this.
