BERLIN, GERMANY
Shops

We got culture shock there... Apparently, shop hours are 8 or 10am to 8pm (not sure about the 8am time) from Monday to Friday, on Saturdays they close at 4 pm... on Sundays, they're closed. Wtf?!!! But gosh, ha, the electronics there are sooo cheap! Wish we could've bought but by the time we finished going around, the shop we were going to buy cellphones (yes, plural) and digital camera was already closed. Argh!! I was thisclose to owning a new cellphone!! And digicam, let's not forget the digicam.

And it sucks coz the two days we happened to be in Coppenhagen (Kobenhavn in German) were Sundays. Kaya wala kaming naikot tuloy!! Sayang!! So very frustrating. But it's the cellphones that got to me, really... So near yet so far.

Coz the cellphones costs a whole lot in Finland itself... as well as the other European countries that we went to. I would've thought, though, that Nokia would be a whole lot cheaper in Finland since that was where it was made, after all. But noooo. Apparently, Finland is really kind of an expensive country. So sad.
