Gosh darn it! I've been trying to post a blog since last night and can't. For some weird reason, yaw niya mag-post! And not only that, I can't go to ANY of my emails! Damn internet account. Dammit!!!!!!
Anyway, first of all, belated Merry Christmas to one and all!
Started lunchtime (about 1030am, maybe) Dec. 13, 2004 and finished about 130am Dec. 23, 2004, I finished the entire 200-episode Sailormoon series. I find that quite an accomplishment. But maybe I'm the only one who sees it that way? Heh. I wasn't able to watch them all because the last two seasons, Super S and Sailor Stars weren't clear and I was only watching via computer sans speakers (they were in the dorm) so it wasn't that enjoyable since I prefer to do my viewing via TV via DVD player. So, anyway. It was still good. Bitin ako huhuhuh I wish they had continued it talaga. Feeling ko kasi, talagang naka-sira si Chibiusa (for those who watch the series, they'll know that she's the future daughter of Usagi and Mamoru and she went back in time to be with, erm, her-past-&-our-present Usagi and Mamoru). She first showed up in the later half of Sailormoon R. She's waaay annoying, but bearable (for me at least) during those shows. She got unbearable in Super S but since Usagi and Mamoru were so fun, I was able to stomach her. Somewhat. But I can see how fans' interested waned due to her. Sailor Stars weren't as weird as I feared they would be and I was surprised myself to find out that I liked Seiya. When my High School kabarkada told me about Seiya, I didn't like him. I called him the ambiguous-hermaphroditic-confused interloper who should just stay away from Usagi. He's male as a 'normal' person but after transformation, changes into a FEMALE Sailor Star, alongside his other male-female friends. But, I liked him. Wanted him for myself, even, since Mamoru was soooo totally into Usagi. I mean, he's no Mamoru (Seiya), obviously, but he's got his appeal. I did dig the guy. But Mamo-chan's my Number One lover! Bwahahaha
My nephew's handog was Dec. 26, 2004. It's the Iglesia's version of the Catholic's Baptism, only with less pizzazz. We had to go to their samba and I got to sit-in one of their massess (?). I fully respect Iglesia's teachings and the people who believe, but I don't like it much. Too egotistical for my tastes, the whole "we're the only ones saved" and all that even though the Iglesia Church wasn't established until years after Jesus' death.
Oh, wow, I can go to one of my yahoo emails. Still, I won't stay long coz this sort of things (inaccessability) pisses me off. Big time.
Heard about the big earthquake in Thailand and the huge tidal wave (huge? tidal? redundant, yes?) that hit Thailand, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, and... and... did I miss any? How sad. I've got a pen-pal in Malaysia and I hope he and his family are okay :( but I can't email him because - annoyingly hatefully and all the negative emotions - I can't access my yahoo emails too. Bad trip. AS IN!!! Gusto kong sumigaw!! Graaaaabeeeehhhh!!!!
Every year, we're in the province 24-25, spending time with our father side relatives. There's a whole lot of them. Really. Yesterday, we were joking around, remember the things that happened (especially funny moments) and commenting on how the new in-laws we have are always overwhelmed during their first Christmas with us. Lota, included. I s'pose we DO overwhelm first-timers who see us. Imagine 50++ people, half of which are kids at the hyperactive stage, the other half of adults which are quite boisterous, all in one place, enjoying games and happily eating. Quite a picture, really. And whenever there are kids around, sometimes people are all, "kaninong anak ka?" coz they all look alike coz their parents are all siblings. And, yes, Velasco traits breed true :p which add to the confusion. To us, it's quite boisterous but fun and normal, but I s'pose to an outsider, they're just overwhelmed. We've noticed that it takes some time for an in-law to get used to us - at least 5 years before they start joining in the fun.
To add to my aggravation of this night, I now have colds. The annoying watery colds that drip down your nose at the most inoportune moments. Damn annoying.
It's full moon tonight. Might it have some thing to do with my weird moods? :p heh. Patapos pa man din ako sa period ko.
