INNOCENCE

Have you ever wished, sometimes, that you never grew up? That you were still innocent and wore the rose-colored glasses of youth? What would life be like if everyone remained innocent and saw only good in the world, I wonder? Would it be better, worse? But I think everyone would be happier, though. Before, life seemed so simple. But does life become complicated as we grow older because it really does or we merely see it that way? Or possibly a combination of both? But if complication comes because of a change in view point, wouldn’t it then follow that we have control over how complicated we’d view our lives? And we’d also have some control on whether or not we’d want out viewpoint complicated?
